NewTelco’s Colocation Services With Unmatched Connectivity
At NewTelco, we understand the importance of having a robust and scalable infrastructure. Our data centers are built to the latest standards, ensuring optimal conditions for your equipment and systems. From advanced cooling systems to redundant power solutions, we offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to maximize uptime and performance while minimizing costs.
What is Colocation?
Colocation refers to the practice of housing privately-owned servers and networking equipment in a third-party data center. It allows businesses to benefit from the data center’s infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security, without the need to invest in and maintain their own facilities.
Our presence in Frankfurt, a vital telecommunications hub, further enhances our global reach and connectivity capabilities. We provide direct access to over 600 network operators, ISPs, content providers and other telcos. Additionally, our global presence extends to key locations including Amsterdam, Cape Town, Hong Kong, London, Stockholm, Vienna and more others. With dedicated data centers in Germany, Georgia, and Ukraine, we ensure seamless connectivity and reliability.
NewTelco’s flagship facility, MainRZ, located in Karlstein am Main, stands
as a testament to our commitment to cutting-edge colocation services. Situated in a strategic location, MainRZ serves global players needing an additional presence in the heart of the EU, as well as national & international SMEs from all kind of industries. The redundant power supply is ensured by two independent sources of electricity at 5 MW, including a dedicated photovoltaic system. With the goal of operating as green as possible in alignment with Tier IV/VK 4 requirements for power and telecommunication connectivity, there is also a concept for the local community to make use of the heat produced by the data center.
Every business is unique. That’s why our team of colocation experts works closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements. Whether you need a unit, rack space, dedicated cages or customized power solutions, we have the expertise and flexibility to deliver.
Security is paramount in today’s digital landscape. That’s why our data centers are equipped with state-of-the-art security features, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and advanced fire detection and suppression systems. With round-the-clock monitoring and support, we provide the peace of mind that comes with knowing your valuable assets are safe and secure.
Each of our data centers is equipped with a full power backup system that is immediately activated in case of an outage. Our distribution of electricity offers complete flexibility, with A+B 16/32amp circuits and a minimum of N+1 UPS power protection as standard.
Behind the scenes, your UPS-protected equipment is backed up by a power generator with a guaranteed 24-hour onsite fuel supply as a minimum standard. With a 24/7/365 refueling contract in place, we ensure continuous power availability. Our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) define guaranteed availability levels, ranging up to 99.99% (with A and B feed).
We offer a range of power options, including AC power voltage of 230 or 400 volts, AC 230/400 volt power breakers of 16/32/64 amps, and DC power voltage of 48 volts, with various sizes of DC power breakers available. Our power standards include UPS redundancy, UPS battery backup of up to 120 minutes, generator backup, as well as 24-hour fuel capacity and refueling contract.
All of our cooling system components are fully redundant, providing fail- safe mechanisms in the event of equipment failure or planned maintenance. Our dual air-supply systems, including upward cooling through the raised floor and separation of warm and cold aisles, guarantee consistent temperature control. With fully sensor-controlled cooling systems and generator backup, we maintain optimal room temperature at 22°C and humidity levels between 40% and 60%. Our downflow cooling units ensure maximum cooling efficiency, while our air conditioning
systems boast HVAC redundancy and N+1 redundancy to further enhance reliability. In addition to our standard cooling system components, our new MainRZ data center, features advanced water cooling systems to further optimize temperature control, as well as cold wall refrigeration.
At NewTelco, we understand that downtime is not an option. Our dedicated team of experts is available 24/7 to provide local technical support and ensure the continuous operation of your infrastructure. Whether you need assistance with monitoring, troubleshooting, or maintenance, we’re here to help every step of the way.
